Founder and CEO

Welcome to BetterMel.com! I’m Mercy, the founder of Bettermel.com.

I’m not your typical founder of a 6-figure business. First off,  I’m a mom of two 8 years and 5 years and I talk a lot about them. Secondly, I’m only 30 years old. And thirdly, I’m a firstborn in a family of 6, 5 kids, and my Mom. In loving memory of my late Dad.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my precious family, travel to new places, road trips with my kids, dine out, hiking, and squeezing every bit of enjoyment out of life. I also love cooking healthy foods and juicing. 

Having spent over 7 years being a project manager/ content manager as well as writing for clients I believe this is the right time for me to work on my blog Bettermel, March 2024.

I’m looking forward to seeing it grow and diving into the blogging world with enthusiasm and positivity. When I’m not working you can find me lost in the pages of a book because reading is also my favorite pastime.

I appreciate the importance of language and its ability to make an impact. I value the art of storytelling and connecting through shared experiences. This is why I am dedicated, to creating content that resonates with you and for you.

Education

Beyond my writing background, I’m a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and PSM1 (Professional Scrum Master Level 1) project manager. Additionally, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. These educational accomplishments have given me a well-organized approach to project management and a comprehension of sustainable principles.

This year 2024, I have decided to start my blog as a step forward. It marks the beginning of a phase where I can share my thoughts connect with a wider audience and delve into new insights. I’m looking forward with optimism, to the growth and learning experiences that await. I believe Every day is a learning day and it is essential for development and I actively seek opportunities to broaden my horizons.
